In a study conducted by Strack, et al they determine that when you smile at someone else and they smile a real smile in return – you are helping to create physiological changes in their bodies that may benefit them.

These are the principles we implement and teach based on years of experience anticipating scenarios and preemptively diffusing situations before they even become situations.

Our security personnel are made up of someone just like you, and just like your guests. That’s one of our little secrets in creating and maintaining safe work practices and managing risk.

SECURITY PERSONNEL

Anyone can license a security guard. We actually train our staff.

We have a current roster of over 700 licensed and trained security guards in Alberta, and are constantly searching for the right people to join our team.

Even though EVERY MEMBER of the XA Staffing security team completes the basic training and licensing requirements, we go above and beyond with The 4 Corner Security Methodology.

Basic Training Requirements

  • Security Service Worker License, in accordance with the mandate of the Alberta Solicitor General (includes the Alberta Basic Security Training requirement)

ACCREDITED TRAINING FACILITY

In addition to training our own staff, XA Staffing is an accredited training provider for the following certifications:

  • Alberta Basic Security Training (ABST), through the Alberta Solicitor General
  • Red Cross First Aid & CPR-C with AED courses
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention, through the Crisis Prevention Institute

We offer on-premise training for venues and their in-house teams, tailored to their specific needs and environments.

OFF-SITE SUPPORT

With our head office located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, we maintain a 24-hour dispatch, with text/phone/email capabilities.

This dispatch is operated by a member of the XA Staffing leadership team. Employees are required to contact dispatch with any concerns or issues that may occur.

This dispatch also serves as our 24-hour emergency line.

Through the dispatch system, we are able to manage last-minute changes from our clients.
